Almost Three decades ago we introduced Paper cup in Indian Railways. We gave the samples of Paper Cups to the Railway officials when plastic cups were being used then.

Plastic dominated Indian Railway platforms and pantry cars in the mid-1990s. We saw potential for a cleaner alternative. We presented the first paper cup samples to railway officials. Replacing cheap plastic with a novelty was bold. However, superior heat insulation, biodegradability, and a clean feel convinced the decision-makers. This spark ignited a revolution across the subcontinent.
